Another Tomorrow needed flexibility to execute had a big brand vision and needed a site and platform to match. In this project, a Shopify 2.0 migration executed on that creative vision while resolving back-end merchandiser challenges and setting the brand up for huge e-commerce growth.
Challenge
Another Tomorrow's previous headless solution required too many expensive dev hours to perform general maintenance tasks like updating the homepage banner image. They needed a site that allowed for streamlined management and gave them the ability to grow while continuously communicating their brand message and vision for planet positive fashion. The biggest challenge was the seamless integration of Another Tomorrow's Authenticated Resale offering - allowing customers to buy, resell and track the provenance of their garment. Another Tomorrow needed to ensure no interruptions in continuity of the customer experience around this critical piece of their business.
Goal
The goal of the Another Tomorrow migration project was to move them off a clunky headless solution to a Shopify 2.0 build with streamlined management tools and an uninterrupted customer journey.
Result
The Another Tomorrow team instantly saw the payoff in reduced management time when their first collection was released on the Shopify 2.0 theme. No back and forth emails to update copy on the site. No calls to review why the banner image didn't update on the headless site 'rebuild'. With customized Shopify site documentation from the Gamma Waves team, the Another Tomorrow ecomm manager was able to update all the assets and copy, make alterations to the homepage such as adding in an extra carousel and re-use the very flexible banner image block multiple times, creating a unique layout and look each time with minimal effort.
